The Veracity of the Bible - A Veracidade da Bíblia

Another important evidence of the veracity of the Bible are the archaeological finds. Archaeology is the science that studies the ancient things, being that Biblical archaeology specializes in studies of ancient materials related to the biblical accounts, through techniques such as excavations and radiometric dating. Through this science were many proven historical facts cited in the Bible, as Hezekiah's tunnel, the walls of Jericho, etc.
An interesting example is the "Stele of Merneptah", found in the ruins of the funerary temple of Pharaoh Merenptah in Thebes, and which contains the oldest reference by Egyptians about the presence of the Israelites in the land of Canaan.


The caves of Qumrán, discovered in 1947 by Bedouin, comprise one of the most important finds of all time to Biblical archaeology, due to the large number of objects, such as New Testament manuscripts, Papyri, and many other elements. 

Thus, archaeology has been great ally of biblical scholars, helping to confirm the contents of the Scriptures and the accuracy of many biblical passages, such as the history of the Kings and the entire narrative of the Patriarchs.

Therefore, there is no doubt that the Bible is truly God's Word, where his plans are revealed to man.


3. the Bible is complete:
The Bible is a complete works, because through it all truths are revealed. It is a mistake to find that the Scriptures are incomplete or outdated, or that is necessary add-ons or updates. The Bible States that there is no other Gospel. Consider:


"But even if we or an Angel from heaven preaches a Gospel other than that which they preach, that is cursed! As we have said, now I repeat: If anyone advertises a Gospel other than that already received, that is cursed! " (Galatians 1: 8-9 NIV) 

Note that the Apostle Paul, writing to the Church of Galatia, asserts that, even if an Angel from heaven to appear and preaches another Gospel, this must be cursed. Because there is only one Gospel, there is another. Also in the 

letter to the Corinthians he reiterates:

"What I fear and I want to avoid, is that just as the serpent deceived Eve with cunning, your mind is corrupted and deviation of your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. Therefore, if anyone comes preaching a Jesus who is not that which we preach, or if you receive a different spirit than welcomed or a different Gospel than accepted, you tolerate with ease. " (2 Corinthians 11: 3-4 NIV)
Thus Paul warns the Church of Corinth that no mistake with the gimmicks of Satan and not corrupt believing in lies, because only in the word of God is the truth.
In the Bible we find the answers to all the situations of our life. Through the Bible we maintain a personal relationship with God, because the Holy Spirit acts in our lives through the word. This way, the Bible teaches, instructs, directs, guide, console, corrects, nourishes.
The Bible is inspired by God, is spiritual food, is a powerful weapon in spiritual conflict is a source of help and guidance, is the word of hope, consolation and salvation. It is revealed "all" the truth. Is a complete work, which never fails and that always remains current.


"Wilt the grass and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever". (Isaiah 40: 8 NIV)
"Just as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and not returned to them without regarem the Earth and make it spring up and flourish, for she produce seed to the sower and bread for the eating, so also occurs with the word that comes out of my mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will do what I want and will achieve the purpose for which I sent." (Isaiah 55: 10-11 NIV)


"As they say the Scriptures:" all human beings are like the grass of the field, and the magnitude of these is as the flower of grass. The dry grass, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord lasts forever. " This is the word that the Gospel brought to you. " (!Pedro 1:24 -25 NIV)
And we wrap up, we quote the words of Jesus himself:

A Bíblia é uma poderosa arma espiritual, uma espada com a qual estamos a lutar contra o mal, escudo com que temos de defender do inimigo.
O caminho de Deus é perfeito; a palavra do Senhor é provada; é um escudo para todos os que confiam nele. (Salmo 18:30 ACF)


Toda a palavra de Deus é pura; escudo é para aqueles que confiam nele. (Provérbios 30:5 ACF)
Por conseguinte, tome toda a armadura de Deus para que você pode ser capaz de resistir no dia mau e tendo feito tudo, ficar. Por conseguinte ser firme e cingidos os lombos com a verdade, e vestida a couraça da Justiça; Pés e calçados na preparação do evangelho da paz; Tomando o escudo da fé, com o qual você pode extinguir todo o flamejante maligno. Tomar o capacete da salvação e a espada do Espírito, que é a palavra de Deus; (Efésios 6:13-17 ACF)
Porque a palavra de Deus é viva e poderosa e mais penetrante que qualquer espada de dois gumes, penetra à divisão da alma e do espírito e das juntas e medula e é apta para discernir os pensamentos e intenções do coração. (Hebreus 4:12 ACF)
Eu escrevi, porque os pais já conhecestes aquele que é desde o início. Eu escrevi, jovens, porque você é forte, e a palavra de Deus está dentro de você e já vencestes o mal. (1João 2.14 ACF)
Outra evidência importante da veracidade da Bíblia são os achados arqueológicos. Arqueologia é a ciência que estuda as coisas antigas, sendo que a arqueologia bíblica é especializada em estudos de materiais antigos relacionados com a bíblica contas, através de técnicas tais como escavações e radiométrica datando. Através desta ciência foram muitos comprovados fatos históricos citados na Bíblia, como túnel de Ezequias, as muralhas de Jericó, etc.


Um exemplo interessante é o "Estela de Merenptah", encontrado nas ruínas do templo funerário do faraó Merenptah, em Tebas, e que contém a referência mais antiga pelos egípcios sobre a presença dos israelitas na terra de Canaã.
As cavernas de Qumrán, descoberto em 1947 por beduínos, compõem um dos achados mais importantes de todos os tempos a arqueologia bíblica, devido ao grande número de objetos, tais como manuscritos do Novo Testamento, papiros e muitos outros elementos.
Assim, a arqueologia tem sido grande aliado dos eruditos bíblicos, ajudando a confirmar o conteúdo das Escrituras e a exatidão de muitas passagens bíblicas, tais como a história dos Reis e a narrativa inteira dos patriarcas.
Portanto, não há nenhuma dúvida de que a Bíblia é verdadeiramente a palavra de Deus, onde seus planos são revelados ao homem.


a  Bíblia é completa
A Bíblia é uma obra completa, porque através dela todas as verdades são reveladas. É um erro   dizer que as Escrituras estão incompletas ou desactualizadas, ou ou seja complementos necessários ou atualizações. A Bíblia afirma que não há nenhum outro evangelho. Considere:
"Mas mesmo se nós ou um anjo do céu prega um evangelho diferente daquele que eles pregam, que é amaldiçoado! Como já dissemos, agora repito: se alguém anuncia um evangelho diferente daquele já recebido, que é amaldiçoado! "(Gálatas 1:8-9 – NVI)
Observe que o Apóstolo Paulo, escrevendo para a Igreja da Galácia, afirma que, mesmo se um anjo do céu para aparecer e prega outro evangelho, isso deve ser amaldiçoado. Porque há somente um evangelho, há um outro. 


Também na carta aos Coríntios ele reitera:
"O que eu receio e quero evitar, é que assim como a serpente enganou Eva com astúcia, sua mente está corrompido e desvio de sua sincera e pura devoção a Cristo. Portanto, se alguém vem pregando um Jesus que não é o que devemos pregar, ou se você receber um espírito diferente do que bem-vindas ou um evangelho diferente do que o aceito, toleram com facilidade. "(2 Coríntios 11:3-4 NVI)
Assim, Paulo adverte a Igreja de Corinto que nenhum erro com os truques de Satanás e não corrompido acreditando em mentiras, pois só na palavra de Deus é a verdade.
Na Bíblia podemos encontrar as respostas para todas as situações da nossa vida. Através da Bíblia, nós mantemos um relacionamento pessoal com Deus, porque o Espírito Santo age em nossas vidas através da palavra. Desta forma, a Bíblia ensina, instrui, direciona, guia, console, corrige, nutre.


A Bíblia é inspirada por Deus, é o alimento espiritual, é uma arma poderosa na batalha espiritual é uma fonte de ajuda e orientação, é a palavra de esperança, consolo e salvação. É revelado que "toda" a verdade. É um trabalho completo, que nunca falha e que permanece sempre atual.


"Murcha a grama e as flores caem, mas a palavra de nosso Deus permanece para sempre". (Isaías 40:8 NVI)
"Assim como a chuva e a neve descem do céu e não voltou a eles sem regarem a terra e fazem brotar e florescer, para ela produzir semente ao semeador e pão para comer, assim também ocorre com a palavra que sai da minha boca: não voltará para mim vazia, mas fará o que eu quero e atingirá o propósito para o qual enviei." (Isaías 55:10-11 NVI)


"Como dizem as Escrituras:" todos os seres humanos são como a erva do campo, e a magnitude desses é como a flor da erva. O capim seco e a flor cai, mas a palavra do senhor dura para sempre. "Esta é a palavra que o evangelho trouxe para você." (!Pedro 1:24-25 NVI)
E nós envolvemos acima, podemos citar as palavras do próprio Jesus:
"Céu e a terra desaparecerão, mas minhas palavras serão para sempre ." (Matthew 0:35 NVI)
